Hellooooooooo!

Welcome to the NUIG Go website!

This is the first post. We are a new NUIG society as of September 2011.

We play Go. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(game)

What are we about?  Well let me tell you,  the society’s goal is to educate those of this university that this is a game called  Go or Igo or Baduk or Weiqi or whatever you want to call (even surrounding stones will do) it but it is NOT Checkers nor Backgammon.

Although we do allow Go puns. 😉

Anyway I ain’t rambling, so if you fancy a game or learning what it is, do pop along Wednesday evening around 8p.m.
